To beginners — adults and children alike — the more superior the sound and touch of their first piano, the more initial success they will enjoy. A high-quality piano will inspire the novice, provide reinforcement of technique, and produce greater progress. All of which will motivate the player further. Additionally, studies have shown that children who play music score higher on tests of language and reasoning. In fact, playing music actually increases the creation of neural pathways in a child’s brain.
With all this in mind, we have developed two programs that allow the first-time or experienced player to enjoy the benefits of playing on a beautiful Steinway-designed Boston or Essex piano.
True Rental – For those who want a Month-to-Month option.
Whether you’re a beginner, or even an accomplished professional pianist, you may have a reason to want the quality of an exceptional instrument for a limited period of time. Or, maybe you’d like to add the enjoyment of a Steinway-designed piano to a summer home. Well, our month-to-month True Rental Program offers you ultimate flexibility with a minimum of commitment.
This program lets you choose from a selection of rental pianos ranging from a compact vertical to a living room grand piano. Depending upon the instrument selected the price ranges from $65 on up (plus tax, shipping and pro-rated tuning charge).
The Six Month “Get Acquainted” Program – For those learning the piano, learn on the right one.
This program allows the first-time player to learn on a beautiful new Steinway-designed piano. The cost is just 1.5% of the piano's total value per month, for six months (plus tax and shipping charges). After six months, if you choose to purchase the piano, we'll credit you the monthly rental costs. Even better, you'll lock in the purchase price at the beginning of the rental agreement, protecting yourself against price increases.
Finance arrangements often cost no more than the original monthly rental fee. And our Full Trade-Up Steinway Promise lets you trade in your piano in the future for 100% of the original purchase price toward a new Steinway, Boston or Essex piano of greater value.
