Steinway Artist Peter Orth to Perform at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
Renowned pianist and Steinway Artist Peter Orth will perform at Grace Auditorium at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory on February 16 at 6:30 PM. Mr. Orth has played as soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic, the Chicago Symphony, as well as the orchestras of Detroit, St Louis, Montreal, and Pittsburgh. He is currently engaged to play as part of the piano series at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2009/10 season. At the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory concert, Mr. Orth will perform pieces by Haydn, Mendelssohn, Schumann, and Beethoven.
