Steinway Artist Judy Carmichael to Perform as Part of Winterfest - Jazz on the Vine
Steinway & Sons invites you to get out of the cold and warm up with a hot lineup of premium Jazz performances at the East End Arts Council’s 3rd Annual Long Island Winterfest Jazz on the Vine, which runs from February 12th to March 21st across Eastern Long Island. The program features both local and world renowned jazz musicians, performing free-admission concerts at winery tasting rooms and other venues every weekend afternoon over the six-week period.
Join us on February 12th at 7 pm for a special evening of wine and music with Grammy nominated Steinway Artist, Judy Carmichael. The world’s leading interpreter of stride piano will kick off the much anticipated festival at the beautiful Wolffer Estate Vineyards, 139 Sagg Road, Sagaponack, NY 11962. Count Basie nicknamed her "Stride", acknowledging the command with which she plays this technically and physically demanding jazz piano style.
Seven beautifully handcrafted Steinway Grand Pianos will be featured in a special Jazz on the Vine "Steinway Series" throughout select vineyards to celebrate award winning Long Island Wines, Jazz Music and these magnificent instruments. Steinway Piano Gallery of Long Island is proud to support the efforts of the East End Arts Council and participating vineyards in the 3rd consecutive Long Island Winterfest Jazz on the Vine.
