Dawn Zahralban made her professional debut as Young Pocahontas in the world premiere of Linda Haugen's Pocahontas, at the Virginia Arts Festival. She has had the pleasure of performing with the New York Summer Opera Scenes in Manhattan for three consecutive summers and performed several roles at Shaker Mountain Opera for two summers. Miss Zahralban has also performed as a concert soloist, in such varied works as Brahm's Ein Deutsches Requiem and Schubert's Mass No. 2. She is now preparing for her second performance as Najade in Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos with The German Opera Project to be performed in Manhattan. Miss Zahralban is a versatile performer, showing her talents in many ways including concert, opera and operetta.
