American Chamber Ensemble Concert
The American Chamber Ensemble will present a special concert on Saturday, March 27 at
Repertoire will be Beethoven’s Trio, Op. 11 for clarinet, cello and piano, Bernstein’s Sonata for clarinet and piano and Dream with Me for soprano, cello and piano, Jonathan Russ’s Through the Window for soprano, cello and piano, Milhaud’s Scaramouche Suite for Two Pianos, Chausson’s Songs for soprano and piano, Chopin’s Two Mazurkas for piano and Polonaise Brillante, Op. 3 for cello and piano, as well as Mendelssohn’s Concert Piece No. 2 for two clarinets and piano.
Performers will be ACE Directors, pianist Blanche Abram and clarinetist Naomi Drucker, along with Chris Finckel, cello, Marilyn Sherman Lehman, piano and Karen Lehman, soprano. Special guest artist will be clarinetist Stanley Drucker.
